How many retailers are included?

Over 30 separate retailers have published electricity plans in Australia. Any available Time of Use plan that matches your location and classification (residential / business), will be included in the report.

When am I charged, and how?

You're only charged after your report has been delivered to your inbox. We hold your payment intent for 48 hours after we've successfully delivered your report, and at that point you'll be charged. If for any reason we can't generate a report for you (e.g. data unavailable), you pay nothing. Payment is one-off, not a subscription.

Will retailers contact me after I run a report?

No. We don't share your contact details with anyone. We compare plans on your behalf and email the results to you. Any switching decision is yours, we're not here to push you to switch plans.

How long does the report take?

The wizard takes less than 5 minutes. We then sync 12 months of your usage data, subject to how long you have been on your current plan, run the comparison, and email you the report. It can take up to 2 hours for your report to arrive in your inbox.

Which states are supported?

NSW, VIC, QLD, SA and TAS. Anywhere with a smart meter and a CDR-participating retailer. WA and NT are not available. If you live in Victoria, links to https://www.energymadeeasy.gov.au/ will not work, but the report is still available.

Can my business use this?

Yes! Small business accounts are supported, but not large businesses or C&I accounts. You'll need to be registered as the CDR Nominated Representative on the account with your retailer (you'll need to call your retailer to set this up).

Are wholesale customers supported?

Unfortunately not. If you're with Amber Energy or another retailer that provides you with wholesale market exposure, you will not be able to use this report. Sorry!
